Role Overview
- Use HTML, CSS, JS to create user-friendly web pages for a Modern WordPress environment.
- Work with WordPress Gutenberg editor to create custom blocks in React and vanilla JS (including data driven blocks via custom REST api and dynamic objects).
- Optimize code for maximum PageSpeed performance and accessibility scores.
- Work as part of a team to build a data driven multiscoped web application
Candidate Requirements
- Master at working with HTML, CSS/SASS.
- Strong familiarity with JavaScript (vanilla JS, jQuery,ES6, etc).
- Strong familiarity with React
- Experience with build tools like gulp, webpack and package managers such as Composer and NPM.
- Proven work expt erience as a Front-end developer.
- Strong familiarity with cross-browser testing and debugging.
- Familiarity with building scrolling interactive websites
- Strong understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).
- Some API integration experience (CRMs, mailing list services, REST APIs)
- Ability to clearly communicate with peers (verbal and written) about complex ideas in simple ways.
- Communication with the team and supporting your peer using chat, audio and video.
- Ability to adhere to quality standards.
- Git Experience.
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming and RESTful APIs.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of and experience with meeting WCAG 2.1 standards.
- Experience with PHP within WordPress.
- Experience with ACF in WordPress.
- Experience with WordPress plugin development, architecture, and standards.
- Experience with website data visualization techniques and libraries, e.g. D3.js, amcharts, etc
- Experience with Gatsy and Nuxt.
- Experience working with third-party APIs (Eg Stripe,Drip, Zapier etc)
- XD or other design experience
- Experience with Vue.js, Babel
- Knowledge of server deployments (SSH, SSL, DNS, Hosting,etc).
