Front-end Developer TYPO3

Role Overview

• Create visually appealing and highly functional user interfaces for websites and applications on the TYPO3 platform, adhering to design mockups and specifications.
• Work within TYPO3's open-source framework to build and manage web content, utilizing TYPO3's Fluid templating engine alongside standard front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ensure that web interfaces are responsive and provide optimal viewing experiences across various devices and screen sizes, maintaining consistency and usability.
• Develop web interfaces that are accessible to users with disabilities, following accessibility standards and best practices to ensure inclusivity and compliance.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility by testing and debugging front-end code across different browsers and platforms, resolving any compatibility issues that may arise.
• Optimize front-end code and assets to improve page loading times and overall performance, implementing techniques for efficient resource utilization and rendering.
• Collaborate closely with designers and backend developers to translate design concepts and requirements into functional front-end code, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with backend systems.
• Identify and resolve front-end issues, bugs, and errors through thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting, ensuring high quality and reliability of web interfaces.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in front end development, TYPO3, and web standards, and incorporate them into our projects as appropriate.
• Document front-end code, processes, and best practices, and share knowledge and insights with team members to facilitate collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Manage workload effectively to meet project deadlines and deliverables, ensuring timely delivery of front-end development tasks while maintaining high quality standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Atleast 2 years of experience as a TYPO3 Developer.
• Proven experience as a Front End Developer with specialized expertise in TYPO3 development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks/libraries.
• Extensive experience working with TYPO3's Fluid templating engine and its integration with front-end technologies.
• Strong understanding of web standards, responsiveness, accessibility principles, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Portfolio showcasing previous work and projects in TYPO3 development is preferred.
• Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
