Role Overview
- Design and build automated tests for APIs using tools like Jest and Supertest.
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks across different systems.
- Collaborate with developers and other engineers to define integration requirements.
- Troubleshoot and debug integration issues to ensure smooth data flow.
- Document your work clearly and concisely for future reference.
- Continuously improve and optimize existing automation processes.
Candidate Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Quality Engineering.
- Strong experience with backend testing and complex requirements.
- At least 3 years of solid knowledge of Typescript.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with testing and automating REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Jest and Supertest (preferably).
- Hands-on experience using API testing tools such as Postman.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for automation and building efficient systems
Nice to Have
- Good knowledge of SQL Queries
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (especially Azure DevOps).
- Basic knowledge of AWS.
- Familiarity with methodologies like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) would be advantageous.
- Certification as an Agile Tester or relevant IT experience.
