Role Overview
- Builds and develops on existing products and platforms.
- Will also work on greenfield projects.
- Works closely with an agile team of developers.
- Takes part in problem solving, infrastructure development and best practice API Building.
Candidate Requirements
- With experience in using PHP/NodeJS, AWS
- With 3 years of Experience using Laravel/Lumen OR Symfony Framework
- Must have an extensive knowledge of building best practice JSON REST API’s, using SOLID design principles.
- Must have experience of building infrastructure in AWS including best practice usage of services such as S3, DynamoDB, SES, SQS, etc.
- Exposure to Test driven development (TDD) & Behaviour driven development (BDD).
- Experience of working with containerisation
- Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD (Bitbucket)
- A confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently within a small team to short deadlines
Nice to Have
- Some FE experiences using React/Vue
- Exposed to HTML/CSS3/SASS practices in support of responsive design, progressive enhancement, W3C and accessibility standards for both mobile and desktop web
- Involved in building and maintaining WordPress plugins and sites.
