Role Overview
- Collaborate with the development team to contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Participate in sprint cycles to prioritize tasks and assignments based on project requirements.
- Undertake hands-on development tasks primarily in PowerBuilder, with additional work in SQL Server and potentially C#.
- Perform performance tuning activities in PowerBuilder and SQL Server to optimize system efficiency and responsiveness.
- Provide production support as needed, addressing any issues that may arise in the EHR system.
- Engage in new development initiatives, contributing innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs.
Candidate Requirements
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in PowerBuilder development, preferably with version 12.5 and above.
- Proficiency in SQL Server development, with a strong emphasis on performance tuning.
- Familiarity with C# development is desirable, with 2-3 years of experience considered advantageous.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration within the development team.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is a plus, but not required.
