Role Overview
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans using Agile principles, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
Execute Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and adapt project plans as needed to ensure timely and successful project completion.
Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate Agile project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance Agile culture.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Provide coaching and mentorship to team members on Agile practices and principles.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop Agile-specific mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
Proactively address Agile-related issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
Conduct regular Agile-related risk assessments and adjust project plans accordingly.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on Agile project status, milestones, and risks.
Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and Agile development teams to ensure alignment with Agile project objectives.
- Quality Assurance:
- Establish and enforce quality standards for Agile project deliverables.
Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance processes within the Agile framework to ensure the final product meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Project Manager with 3 to 5 years of successful Agile project delivery.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple Agile projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Agile project management tools and software.
- PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
