Role Overview
- Understanding the business requirements.
- Architect a software design, build code, and configure.
- Adhere to and apply software development policies and standards.
- Ensure accurate estimates on development efforts.
- Implementing and maintaining controls.
- Analyzing and resolving software errors.
- Completeness and accuracy of code (work product) vs. allocated tasks.
- Ensure that project tasks are delivered following larger project objectives.
- Proactively report on potential slippage or deviation.
- Suggesting, planning, and implementing software improvements and upgrades.
- Perform unit testing for all custom code and ensure quality for test cases, where applicable.
- Collaborative development and code reviews.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Salesforce Development experience
- Proficient with Salesforce development including custom objects, Apex, Triggers, Web Services, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Commerce, and Aura Components
- Experience with Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP Web Services, and Bulk API.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce's capabilities and limitations and can clearly communicate those to customers.
- Experience with integration of Salesforce with other systems
- Will learn other systems that are integrated with Salesforce
- Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor other engineers.
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce e-store implementation

- Knowledge about Salesforce deployments using Copado
- Another set of nice to haves for a different set of Salesforce developers:
- Knowledge of Zuora - Configurations and APIs
- Experience with enterprise-level applications built on Salesforce
