Role Overview
- Takes part in a full web development cycle. Inclusive of design, source control, component development, unit testing, end-to-end test automation and deployment.
- Actively assists responsive design, progressive enhancement, W3C and accessibility standards for both desktop and mobile web.
- Will work closely with other developers and departments, especially with the marketing department.
- Indicates business needs and scope work for the team members.
Candidate Requirements
- Must have at least 4 years of experience with web development using Javascript
- Possess an advanced knowledge in Vue framework and JQuery
- Exposed to HTML/CSS3/SASS practices in support of responsive design, progressive enhancement, W3C and accessibility standards
- Professional exposure to full web development life cycle
- Extensive knowledge of ES6
- Must have a logical, consumer-like thinking
- Instinctive feel for what is good, what is simple and what works
- A confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently within a small team to short deadlines
- A feel for marketing and ability to interface with other departments and clients
- An ability to identify business needs and scope work for other developers
Desired Skills:
- Typescript
- Docker
- Experience using Photoshop and/or Sketch in collaboration with UX/UI design
